Sunday
School
Sunday School classes meet
each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Devoted, caring teachers lead classes for children of
all ages, including nursery for infants. Children have great fun learning about
God and giving thanks to Him.
HIS Kids
Periodic activities are
planned for HIS Kids (ages 4 years old through 8th grade with
accompanying adult). These activities include an Easter Egg Hunt, a Fall
Festival for children as well as adults, and various other outings such as
picnics, zoo trips, pool parties, skating, bowling, etc. This is a great time
of fellowship for our children and the accompanying adults.
HIS Kids
Praise
HIS Kids Praise is a music
ministry for children ages 4 years old through 8th
grade. We meet every Sunday morning at 9:00 for 30 minutes of
fun, games, and music. Children have a lot of fun making a joyful
song unto the Lord and learning to praise and worship Him in all they
do. They have the opportunity to praise the Lord in song during
special Sunday morning worship services. They also have the
opportunity to share the Gospel during their Christmas program.
Vacation
Bible School
Vacation Bible School is
always full of great fun for children, youth, and adults as well. The children
have a great time with music, crafts, and learning about God. Our adult class
of Bible study is always popular. VBS is eagerly anticipated every summer.
Fall Festival
Our choir hosts an annual
Fall Festival with luncheon, bake sale, silent auction, and children's carnival
(Huge inflatables, face painting, dum-dum pull, prizes,
community fire department with fire truck and fire safety information) for our
community. It is great fun for the whole family.
Worship
Service participation
Children's Pew Pack
During Sunday morning worship
services, children are invited to grab a canvas bag at one of the entrances to
the sanctuary. Within the bag they will find cards to color, instructions, and
a copy of the prayer list. They are invited to make cards for persons on our
prayer list and members in nursing homes. They can also choose from several
other Christian activities.
